Noemi Fadda comes from the island of Sardinia. That’s definitely a first for the Shirt List. Sardinia is nearly as remote as where I live (Okinawa, Japan). Noemi creates cutesy designs for t-shirts with bold colors and thick lines. She has a pet dog and occasional muse called Audrey. She thinks sloths are cute. I think we’d get along. She goes by the name NemiMakeit and her t-shirts are very popular recently popping up on daily t-shirt sites quite frequently.
I have to admit that I’m surprised that someone with a degree in industrial biotechnology is also a great artist although perhaps industrial biotechnology is more creative than clinical as it sounds. Or perhaps it is extremely clinical and art is her creative outlet. I should have asked. Anyway, here are the banal questions that I did ask. Learn more about this talented artist.
I’m not quite sure what your name is. You use the name NemiMakeit but I guess this is a nickname. I have seen you use the name Noemi Fadda, too. I think this is your real name and Noemi is pronounced Nemi. And Makeit is what you do with art? How are my powers of deduction?
Yes my name is Noemi Fadda but friends call me Nemi, Makeit does not have any relation to my art, I created this English surname so many years ago (when I was a child). It is a stupid translation of my real surname “Fadda” from Sardinian language to English.
I know it doesn’t make any sense but I’ve used it for so long 😛
